baked salmon recipe

Salmon is so flavorful as it is, and don’t judge that I love sashimi which is raw salmon. Don’t worry, this post isn’t about consuming raw fish. It concerns a delicious baked salmon recipe you may want to try out!

Admittedly, salmon can get boring sometimes and doesn’t offer exciting new flavor combinations. I will offer you an insanely tasty fiesta salmon that you can have anytime. How fun would it be to baked this and shred it up for Taco Tuesday?! So many options with this baked salmon recipe!

You’ll want to grab a piece of salmon and season it with my spicy lime taco seasoning which is fairly easy to make. Next, place it in a baking dish and adorn it with jalapenos or other types of peppers, because why not? Lastly, I added some salsa around the piece of salmon.

Here’s my baked salmon recipe

Take the baking dish and put it in a 350 degree preheated oven for 35-40 minutes. I probably could have cut the peppers lengthwise in half, but I could always do that next time.

Once it’s done, take it out and let it rest for a minute. If you really love jalapenos then you can chop them on to place on top of the salmon. After I plated the salmon, I then took some of the salsa on the side and used this to dip the salmon in.

Look how juicy and flakey this salmon looks! If you like Mexican flavors, this would be something for you to cook next. It doesn’t taste healthy but it absolutely is, so that should be considered a win. Salmon flavors typically involve lemon and fresh herbs or brown sugary goodness. This is a different take that should be tried by all salmon lovers. Honestly, I do not eat baked salmon often because I prefer raw salmon. This is a great recipe that shakes things up and keeps salmon interesting to me!
